About me and my approach

I work in a person-centred way which means I believe that you are the expert in your experience. I work to build a relationship with you that can facilitate you developing a better understanding and acceptance of yourself.

I work with a variety of issues including anxiety, depression, grief, body image issues, relationship issues and navigating difficult times in life, and I work with people of all genders, ages and backgrounds.

In addition to private work I volunteer as a counsellor for Nottinghamshire Hospice and the not-for-profit organisation Headstrong Counselling.

I have recently completed my studies towards my Masters in Counselling and Psychotherapy at the University of Keele. I have a BSc in Psychology (First) and am a member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP).
